Philippe Soeuvre, with over fifteen years of experience in blacksmithing and cutlery as well as training in damask and artistic blacksmithing, was awarded the EPV label in 2010. This distinction was renewed in 2015 and he obtained master titles and honours in Thiers. His speciality is damask, reviving ancient knowledge and using only iron, steel and pure nickel. He favours basic techniques such as "Tranchant rapporté" or "Sanmai".

The handle scales of this aesthetic gentleman's knife are made of FAT carbon. This highly technical handle material has an extremely pleasant feel and very attractive appearance. The hand-flattering material merges into beautiful mosaic damaskus bolsters. They form a perfect unit with the blade, which is also made of mosaic damaskus.
