Die Struktur des hier verarbeiteten Materials erinnert an die Optik einer Damastklinge. Naturbedingt varriert die Optik etwas. Kohlefaser Dieser extrem widerstandsfähige Werkstoff besteht aus Kohlenstoffatomen, die zu mikroskopisch feinen Fasern (5 bis 15 Mikrometer im Durchmesser) aneinandergereiht werden. Mehrere Tausend Kohlestofffasern werden zusammen zu einem Faden aufgewickelt, der unverändert verwendet oder mit Epoxydharz gewebt und verschmolzen werden kann. Kohlefaser wird zur Verstärkung von Verbundstoffen und für alle Anwendungen verwendet, die bei geringem Gewicht große mechanische Widerstandsfähigkeit fordern. Es wird seit dem Altertum für viele Werkzeuge und Gebrauchsgegenstände verwendet. Buchsbaum hat eine zitronengelbe Farbe und ist bemerkenswert hart und fein. Perceval verwenden Buchsbaum-Maserholz vor allem wegen seines größeren Reichtums an Schattierungen und Details.

Das Modell „L-08“ erinnert an die Rundungen und Sinnlichkeit der Autos aus den 50er Jahren. Dieses moderne Werkzeug wird Sie durch seine Ergonomie und die guten Schneideigenschaften überzeugen. Das L08 mit atraktiver Griffbeschalung aus Padouk Holz. Vor allem im Bootsbau wird dieses, gegen Fäulniss widerstandsfähige Holz verwendet. Das Holz hat eine meist dunkle purpurbraune Farbe mit gestreifter Textur. Splintholz und Kernholz unterscheiden sich farblich stark. Padouk lässt sich zu einer schönen Oberfläche polieren.
