The Ardennes are a densely forested, unspoilt low-mountain range in the heart of Europe, stretching across Belgium, Luxembourg and parts of France. Their dense forests and largely untouched natural environment make the region a special habitat for red deer. The handle reflects the irregular appearance of a flint. This intricate finish is also evident on the brass backspacer and the spine of the blade – the ‘Ur-Messer’ has arrived!Alongside the extraordinary handle scales, the oxidised carbon blade is certainly another eye-catcher.
