VÉZELAY handmade linerlock knife - hand-forged damask bolsters - hand-forged damask blade. Phiippe Soeuvre has dedicated himself to damask forging. He has worked full-time as a damask and artisan blacksmith for more than 15 years. He lives and works in Quarré-les-Tombes in France. Philippe completed several apprenticeships and received various awards for his work. He tries to revive ancient knowledge. He uses only iron, steel and pure nickel for his damask blades. The handle scales of this aesthetic gentleman's knife are made of made from semi-fossilised desert burl of ironwood. Minimal indentations or notches are characteristic of this extremely hard and heavy wood.The blade is a San-Mai damascus blade - very thin and sharp. The plates are decorated to match this pattern. The inner resort is also decorated and engraved with PH.SOUEVRE.
