SPECIAL MODEL VERROU with Damascus blade The Thiers VERROU (lock) knife by Claude Dozorme is a folding knife. The mechanism that locks and unlocks the blade is particularly interesting. There is a small snap lock at the end of the knife back. This is used to lock and unlock the blade. The blade is also locked when closed. This ingenious lock was developed by an aeronautical engineer from Auvergne and patented by Claude Dozorme. The handle scales of the VERROU are made of olivewood. The extra-wide plate and the resort of the RLT Thiers knife have been finely filed by hand. The bolsters and resort are mat. The eye-catching feature of this exclusive knife is undoubtedly the stainless DSC® STAINLESS Damascus steel. This comes from Markus Balbach. It has a Rockwell hardness of around 62HRC. Claude Dozorme subjects the steel to an etching process to better highlight the beautiful Damascus pattern. The plates and resort have been guilloché by hand.
