Exklusives Laguiole Messer mit Wüstenwarzenschwein Elfenbein. Die Griffschalen werden aus den Hauern des Wüstenwarzenschweins gefertigt. Diese sind eher klein, daher steht das Material in passender Größe beschränkt zur Verfügung.Im Gegensatz zu anderen Varianten ist das Elfenbein des Warzenschweins eher meliert auf weißem Grund. Das Tier gilt als afrikanischer Vertreter des Wildschweines und gehört nicht zu den bedrohten Tierarten. Dieses edle Laguiole Messer ist sowohl haptisch als auch optisch äußerst ansprechend. Ausgestattet ist das Messer mit Doppelplatinen, welche für eine bessere Verwindungssteifigkeit sorgen.Sowohl die Rückenfeder, wie auch die Doppelplatinen (oben und unten), wurden vom Schmiedemeister filigran verziert. Dabei hat jeder Schmiedemeister sein eigenes Muster/Unterschrift, die sogenannte Guillochage.Für den Klingenstahl wurde leistungsfähiger rostfreier 12C27MOD Sandvikstahl verarbeitet. Klinge und Backen erhielten ein poliertes Finish.

PERCEVAL L08 Carbon
Aus der L - Serie, das L08 ein schlichtes, feines Klappmesser mit arretierender Platine (Linerlock).Durch besonders nachhaltiges Polieren erreicht Perceval bei der Kohlefaser einen außergewöhnlichen Glanz. Von Natur aus ist dieser außergewöhnliche Werkstoff extrem stoß- und kratzbeständig. Kohlefaser Dieser extrem widerstandsfähige Werkstoff besteht aus Kohlenstoffatomen, die zu mikroskopisch feinen Fasern (5 bis 15 Mikrometer im Durchmesser) aneinandergereiht werden. Mehrere Tausend Kohlestofffasern werden zusammen zu einem Faden aufgewickelt, der unverändert verwendet oder mit Epoxydharz gewebt und verschmolzen werden kann. Charakteristisch für diesen Verbund ist trotz geringer Dichte (1,7 bis 1,9) eine erhebliche Zug- und Druckfestigkeit. Kohlefaser wird zur Verstärkung von Verbundstoffen und für alle Anwendungen verwendet, die bei geringem Gewicht große mechanische Widerstandsfähigkeit fordern. Sie wird auch aufgrund ihrer Flexibilität, guter elektrischer und thermischer Leitfähigkeit, Temperaturbeständigkeit und chemischer Trägheit (außer bei Oxydation) geschätzt.
