Founded 40 years ago in Corsica, the Coutellerie du Lotus is characterised by the design and manufacture of its Cornicciolus, always with a focus on quality and respect for the traditions of the artisan blacksmith. The owners, Franck Thomas, Pierre Yves Thomas and Jean-François Tramoni, personally select the materials and work them in a purely artisanal way in the village of Levie, in the heart of the Alta Rocca in southern Corsica, to create exceptional pieces.

In the village of Levie, in the heart of the Alta Rocca in South Corsica, Franck THOMAS, Jean-François TRAMONI and Olivier MORETTI make traditional Corsican shepherd's knives.The handle of the Cornicciolu is made from a piece of ram's horn into which the seat of the blade is sawn. The forged Brut de Forge blade is made of XC75 steel. The non-stainless blade steel is finely and sharply ground.
The dark blade is polished towards the edge.
