Tim Bernard founded Atelier Névé following his apprenticeship in 2015, inspired by the Alpine rivers of his home region. Under the guidance of Manu Laplace at Atelier 1515, he learnt quality-conscious skills that he now uses in his independent career as a knifemaker in Thiers. His first creation, the knife Névé, was soon followed by the Gyr model.
