The Company Laguiole Arbalète G. David in Thiers, originally founded in 1810 and taken over by Arbalete Gênes David in 1922, is now managed by Christoph Durand. The traditional forge produces both Thiers knives and all Laguiole knives by hand in its own company in Thiers.
