SPECIAL MODEL VERROU with Damascus blade The Thiers VERROU (lock) knife by Claude Dozorme is a folding knife. The mechanism that locks and unlocks the blade is particularly interesting. There is a small snap lock at the end of the knife back. This is used to lock and unlock the blade. The blade is also locked when closed. This ingenious lock was developed by an aeronautical engineer from Auvergne and patented by Claude Dozorme. The handle scales of the VERROU are made of Norwegian burr birch wood.
