After five years of training, among others, and at CFAI also in the forge of Atelier Perceval, ALEXIS DEBRIENNE went into business for himself and founded his company KLEOS in 2021, based in Thiers, the "knife capital" of France.
He drew and designed his first models. Meticulous and demanding, Alexis strives above all for aesthetics and quality. From the selection of materials and steels to the production of his knives. Besonders selten ist die hier verarbeitete blau/güne Farbe des Mammutstoßzahnes. Sie ist natürlich und ensteht durch mineralische Einlagerungen. Durch die Polisage des Elfenbein wird eine feine, samtige Oberfläche erreicht.
Neben der schönen Griffbeschalung ist sicherlich die lange rostfreie Damast Klinge ein absoluter Blickfang. Die Klingen der Le Grand Serie sind mit dem Damast Vinland aus der Schmiede Damasteel gefertigt, dessen deutliche Prägung und den feinen Linien dieses Messer seinen Charakter verleiht. Die Lamellierung des Stahls wird durch Pulvertechnik erzielt. Mit dieser kristallinen Sintermethode bleibt die Kornfeinheit erhalten und die Legierung wird rostbeständig.Die Klinge ist kryogen behandelt und auf Kugellagern montiert. Sie verriegelt über einen Linerlock.Das Finish des Messers ist poliert.

The BEE-BACK is a simple, beautifully shaped slipjoint pocket knife. It was designed by Laguiole en Aubrac. It has a very special shape. The locking mechanism is also quite interesting. The decorated bee at the end of the handle locks the blade in the closed position. When opened, the blade lifts slightly out of the resort. The handle scales are made of FAT carbonfiber and mother of pearl. In the middle is a small mitres with engraving. The resort has also a fine engraving.
The blade is made of 14C28N steel, which is easy to cut. The Laguiole en Aubrac logo is lasered on the blade.The finish of the fine folding knife is matt.
