Le THIERS Messer from LIÉRANDE located in Thiers, the knife capital of France. It is the first work of Geoffroy GAUTIER, a young, very talented cutler from Thiers. It took a lot of development work until the knife could go into production. The special challenge was the locking system. The knife handle consists of one piece (monobloc) X20Cr13 stainless steel. Pressing the patented locking system unlocks the blade.The Le Thiers is an ultra-flat, lightweight utility knife for every day. The innovative design makes the knife an eye-catcher.Like every Le Thiers, the knife of Geoffroy GAUTIER had to assert himself before the Confrérie de Couteau Le Thiers and be taken off to call himself Le Thiers.
