The traditional manufacture José da Cruz from Portugal produces traditional pocket knives in the north-east of Portugal, more precisely in the small village of Palaçoulo. The founder, José da Cruz, developed a keen interest in knife forging at the age of 13. In 2003, he founded his own brand, Cutelaria José da Cruz, initially as a sideline. Since 2010, however, he has been fully dedicated to the company, and since 2015 he has been supported by his son Daniel Macias, who shares his father's passion for cutlery.
