The Le THIERS knife from the LIÉRANDE forge based in Thiers, the knife capital of France, was the first work of Geoffroy GAUTIER, a young, very talented cutler from Thiers. It took a lot of development work before the knife could go into series production. The special challenge was the ingenious locking system.
As with the Thiers, the handle of the CUTTERS consists of one piece (monobloc) of X20Cr13 stainless steel. Pressing the patented locking system unlocks the blade.
The CUTTER is an ultra-flat, lightweight utility knife for every day use with a wide blade made of 14C28N stainless steel. The innovative design makes the knife an eye-catcher.
