Florinox KIANA ORIGINE foldingknife orange
FLORINOX pocket knife KIANA, 100% made in France, a light knife with blade lock and a perfect grip.
The KIANA pocket knife from the FLORINOX forge based in Thiers, the knife capital of France, impresses with its lightness. With only 52 grams, it is the perfect companion. The body of the KIANA is made of glass fibre-reinforced polyamide, which makes it highly resistant to external influences (impacts, moisture, etc.).
Simplicity and timelessness define the source of this first Kiana variant and give it its name: "Origine". The blade is made of stainless steel X35Cr16N (MA5 from APERAM). FLORINOX carries out a heat treatment with cryogenisation to give the blade a good cutting quality and better corrosion resistance. The finish of the blade is polished (iced). The blade locks with a backlock and can be easily released. The KIANA is 100% made in France.

Florinox cutlery in Thiers
In 1962, Roger MOREL decided to take over the cutlery company where he worked. The company had been founded in 1930 and was located in the village of Saint-Rémy-sur-Durolle near Thiers, selling pocket knives.
In 1969 and 1972, his sons Daniel and Michel joined their father's company.
It was not until 1990 that the company was renamed FLORINOX after moving to the "Zone industrielle", still in Saint-Rémy-sur-Durolle. Recently, David Morel took over from his father Daniel and continued the know-how acquired over the years. All FLORINOX knives are made in Thiers.
