The knife was designed by Pascal Charles and Aurélien Canon. The family history of the two developers is rich in mining history with a father or a grandfather, the small mine 9 north in Harnes and the mine 6 to Hénin-Liétard of one and the other of the coal dealers in Lallaing. The trapezoidal shape of the knife is reminiscent of a "pile" of French Terril, an artificial hill, which is caused by mining residues. The handle scales are made of omacassar ebony. The resort is kept simply smooth. The knife has a very pleasant, not too tight blade path and lies well in the hand. The blade is made of easy-to-cut 12C27 Sandvik steel. This stainless steel is considered to be very cut and easy to sharpen. The blade has a mat finish. The scope of delivery includes a wooden storage box, which is also manufactured by DUTILLEUL INDUSTRIES.

The Liadou ® is an authentic winemaker knife. In the past, every winemaker had one in his pocket. His "Liadou" (Occasional Tying Tool) formerly served to split the willow and "bind" the vine to size in a crown. It was also used for snacks or housework. Its typical, broad, down-facing blade, its flat, firm and jerky spring made it a reliable and durable tool.
This is the smaller version with 10,5 cm scales. A perfect knife for the pocket or your bag.

The Sauveterre knife was designed by Henri Viallon from a model of a knife from the Aveyron region of the nineteenth century. The distinctive feature of this knife is a leaf-shaped blade reminiscent of a sage leaf and a sage leaf on the nib.
The handle of this elegant knife is made from juniper wood. The spring has a nice engraving. The blade is made of high-performance 14C28N stainless steel. For easier opening of the knife, the blade is equipped with a nail cut.
The Sauveterre, bears the name of a village in Aveyron where the forge is located.
Founded around 1241, Sauveterre de Rouergue, a medieval village considered one of the most beautiful villages in France, is a beautiful 13th century bastide built around the "Place des Arcades".
Guy Vialis was the founder of the SAUVETERRE brand. After his death, Chrsitian Valat is now the current owner of the small "SAUVETERRE" forge. Monsieur Valat is also the owner of the world-famous Laguiole en Aubrac forge.
