The Le 1925 is a homage to the grandfather of the talented blacksmith Marie Taillardat from Thiers. Now Marie decided to make also a smaller one total lenght 19 cm.
The slim 1925 fits perfectly in the hand. The scales are made of juniper burlwood The blade is made of stainless VG10 damascus and is very fine and sharp. The sinkers and back spring are simply smooth. The beautifully shaped slip-joint knife is impeccably finished.

In 2013, Marie Taillardat began an apprenticeship at the renowned Atelier Perceval forge. The talented young woman was soon given the responsibility of producing chef's knives, sommliers and pocket knives. After a few years, she decided to set up her own business and founded her own company, Coutellerie Marie Taillardat, in March 2020 at the age of 29. Her first work is the 1925 model, a tribute to her grandfather, who shaped Marie's life. Marie now produces the 1925 BB, the smaller version of her first piece.
