in Frankreich handgefertigtes, geschmiedetes Steakbesteck aus THIERS, der Messer Hauptsttadt Frankreichs. Angelehnt an das Thiers Modell COMPAGNON fertigt Philippe Chambriard hochwertige Steakmesser.
Das geschmiedete Messer liegt mit einem Gewicht von 112 Gramm hervorragend in der Hand. Für den Klingenstahl wurde der schwedische rostfreie 14C28N verarbeitet.
Für die Griffschalen wurden aus Ebenholz gefertigt. Ebenholz ist ein sehr hartes Holz und hat eine wunderbar ruhige, elegante Ausstrahlung.
Das Modell Thiers Messer ist geschützt. Zur Abnahme muss jedes Modell bei der zuständigen Kommission in Thiers vorgelegt werden. Diese entscheidet, ob das Messer regelkonform ist und den Namen Thiers tragen darf.

In the heart of Thiers, the knife capital of France, is the forge and sales store of the CHAMBRIARD family.
The store is known beyond the country's borders. Over 5000 different items of cutlery from more than 160 manufacturers can be found there. Around 100 of these blacksmiths are based in Thiers itself.
The family-run business is open seven days a week, 360 days a year from Monday to Sunday.
In 1998, the first THIERS knife CHAMBRIARD model Compagnon was created in the forge, followed by other models until 2005.
Each Thiers knife model must be presented to a commission for approval. This committee decides whether the knife conforms to the rules and may bear the name Le Thiers.
Philippe Chambriard is assisted by his brother Dominique in the purely manual production process. In the meantime, Philippe's sons, Pierre-Alexandre and Valentin, also work in the family business.
The small forge now has many fans, because the quality of workmanship is absolutely convincing!
