JOSÈ DA CRUZ - cutlery in Portugal

traditional pocket knives from the north-east of Portugal, the small village of Palaçoulo.

José da Cruz was already very interested in knifemaking at the age of 13. In 2003, the 38-year-old founded his own brand, but initially worked only part-time as a knife maker.

This is how Cutelaria José da Cruz was born, based in the village of Palaçoulo in northern Portugal.
Since 2010, José da Cruz has devoted himself entirely to the company.
Since 2015, he has been supported by his son Daniel Macias, who shares his father's passion for cutlery.
