Fontenille Pataud RONDINARA ramhorn 12 cm
Fontenille Pataud, a high-end manufacturer of fine cutlery since 1929, is based in Thiers, France. All work steps are carried out by hand by one cutler.
The RONDINARA is another Corsican knife model, named after the picturesque Bay of Rondinara in Corsica. The Bay of Rondinara is known for its almost perfect crescent shape – a harmonious, gently curved line that is reflected in the design of this knife.
The handle scales are made of ram's horn, a material typically used for knife handles in Corsica. The intricately crafted guillochage on the forged back is finished with a delicate engraving depicting the contours of Corsica.
The wide, sharp blade is made from stainless 14C28N Sandvik steel. It retains its edge and is easy to resharpen. The finish of the knife is mat.
The item comes with a handmade leather sheath and a numbered manufactory certificate.
