Benjamin Hée Liner-Lock knife stabilised ash burl 12 cm

Benjamin Hée is a French artisan and knife maker who has been handcrafting knives since 2018. Having started out making chef’s knives, he now specialises in elegant folding knives, particularly precision-crafted liner-lock models. His knives are characterised above all by their fine craftsmanship and a pleasantly smooth blade action. The liner-lock knives can be opened comfortably with one hand.

This model features a particularly sharp blade made from RWL34 stainless steel. The liners are made of titanium, whilst the handle scales are crafted from finely grained, stabilised ash burl.

Each piece is unique and combines traditional blacksmithing with modern design.

Benjamin Hée

Benjamin Hée is a self-taught blacksmith and knife maker who began forging at the foot of the Causse Noir five years ago. What started out as making his own kitchen knives quickly became his passion and his main focus as a craftsman.

Today, he specialises in 100% handmade kitchen knives and folding knives, particularly those with a liner lock mechanism, and is currently expanding his collection to include slip joint models. In the course of his development, he has also worked with experienced knife makers to further refine his technique and bring new perspectives to his craft. He has also recently started producing his own Damascus steel and crafts each knife as a unique piece from steel, wood and selected natural materials.
