Fontenille Pataud, a high-end manufacturer of fine cutlery since 1929, is based in Thiers, France. All work steps are carried out by hand by one cutler.

The SPERONE a model from Corse has a smooth blade locking system. It is easy to use, beautiful to look at and superior in performance. The backlock at the end of the handle allows the knife to be closed gently.

The 12 cm long handle is made from walnut wood. The bolster and back spring are forged from a single piece. The back spring is hand-decorated and shows in front the island Corse.

The sharp blade is made from stainless 14C28N Sandvik steel. It keeps its edge and is easy to resharpen. The finish of the SPERONE knife is mat.
The item comes with a handmade leather sheath and a numbered manufactory certificate.
