Fontenille Pataud Laguiole Le POCKET juniper burlwood 10,5 cm
Fontenille Pataud, a high-end manufacturer of fine cutlery since 1929, is based in Thiers, France. All work steps are carried out by hand by one cutler.
Looking for a Laguiole knife that's not too small, not too big, not too heavy and not too light? Then the Laguiole "Le Pocket" is for you. Like its big brother, the Laguiole Nature, it is perfectly safe to use thanks to its locking blade. The flexible precision mechanism makes it easy to open and close the knife.
The Laguiole POCKET combines the best of old and new. The traditional elegance of a Laguiole knife has been updated with a smooth-running blade locking system. It is easy to use, beautiful to look at and superior in performance. The backlock at the end of the handle allows the knife to be closed gently.
The 10,5 cm long handle is made from juniper burl wood. The shepherd's cross is precisely attached. The bolster and back spring are forged from a single piece. The back spring is hand-decorated with loving care.
The sharp blade is made from stainless 14C28N Sandvik steel. It keeps its edge and is easy to resharpen. The finish of the Laguiole Le POCKET knife is matt.
The item comes with a handmade leather sheath and a numbered manufactory certificate.
