Fontenille Pataud Laguiole AIGUILLES (Needles) ironwood burl 12 cm
Fontenille Pataud, a high-end manufacturer of fine cutlery since 1929, is based in Thiers, France. All work steps are carried out by hand by one cutler.
The Laguiole knife AIGUILLES (Needles) catches the eye with its charming appearance. The 12 cm handle scales are made fromdessert ironwodd burl. They are carved entirely by hand and decorated with many small pins. The liners and the forged bolsters are finished with extremely carefully executed and filigree workmanship. The traditional bee is beautifully designed. The inner resort is also decorated with loving attention to detail.
Another eye-catching feature is certainly the stainless twisted damascus blade. It is finely and very thinly sharpened by hand.
