Neues THIERS Messer aus der Schmiede CHAMBRIARD ansässig in Thiers, der Messerhauptstadt Frankreichs. Das MI-Jo (Marie-Jo) ist eine Homage an Madam Chambriard, welche 1950, zusammen mit Ihrem Mann Georges, das über die Grenzen Frankreichs bekannte Geschäft im Zentrum von Thiers gründete.
Das MI-JO ist ein feines Messer mit einem hervorragend arbeitenden Backlock System. Das Resort ist von Hand verziert, ganz vorne befindet sich ein T. für Thiers. Die Griffschalen wurden aus lebhaft gemaserter norwegischer Maserbirke gefertigt. Die satinierten Backen schließen perfekt an die Griffschalen an.
Für die Klinge verwendet CHAMBRIARD den hochwertigen, rostfreien 14C28N Sandvikstahl mit einer Härte von HRC 58-60. Die Klingen werden von Hand fein und sehr scharf abgezogen. Geliefert wird das Thiers MI-Jo mit einem schönen Leder-Stecketui.

In the heart of Thiers, the knife capital of France, is the forge and sales store of the CHAMBRIARD family.
The store is known beyond the country's borders. Over 5000 different items of cutlery from more than 160 manufacturers can be found there. Around 100 of these blacksmiths are based in Thiers itself.
The family-run business is open seven days a week, 360 days a year from Monday to Sunday.
In 1998, the first THIERS knife CHAMBRIARD model Compagnon was created in the forge, followed by other models until 2005.
Each Thiers knife model must be presented to a commission for approval. This committee decides whether the knife conforms to the rules and may bear the name Le Thiers.
Philippe Chambriard is assisted by his brother Dominique in the purely manual production process. In the meantime, Philippe's sons, Pierre-Alexandre and Valentin, also work in the family business.
The small forge now has many fans, because the quality of workmanship is absolutely convincing!
