Sauveterre knife box wood facetted 11 cm

The Sauveterre knife was designed by Henri Viallon from a model of a knife from the Aveyron region of the nineteenth century. The distinctive feature of this knife is a leaf-shaped blade reminiscent of a sage leaf and a sage leaf on the nib.

The handle of this elegant knife is made from facetted ebony wood. The back spring is forged. It ends in a guilloche sage leaf. The plates are also handcarved. The blade is made of high-performance 14C28N stainless steel. For easier opening of the knife, the blade is equipped with a nail cut.

The Sauveterre, bears the name of a village in Aveyron where the forge is located.

Founded around 1241, Sauveterre de Rouergue, a medieval village considered one of the most beautiful villages in France, is a beautiful 13th century bastide built around the "Place des Arcades".

Sauveterre

The Sauveterre knife was designed by Henri Viallon, who was inspired by a nineteenth-century knife model from Aveyron. It bears the name of the village of Sauverterre in Aveyron, where the forge is located.
