MANU LAPLACE 1515 grapevine blade oxidation
Pocket knife Model 1515 – Handle scales made from 100-year-old grapevine wood
This elegant Model 1515 combines history, craftsmanship and modern functionality. The handle scales are crafted from the stabilised wood of a vine that is around 100 years old – featuring striking grain and a unique character. The 1515 sits superbly in the hand and exudes a very high-quality feel. The liner lock operates precisely. Another eye-catching feature is the stainless, oxidised blade. The blade steel used is high-quality, stainless 14C28N Sandvik steel, which undergoes a complex oxidation process. This gives it a very interesting appearance. The blade is very finely ground and perfectly honed.

Emmanuel Laplace (Manu) founded his own blacksmith shop in 2005 in the 4 rue Camille-Joubert in Thiers.
Here he works, supported by his team Jérôme, Pascal and Stéphanie.
The 1515 vouches for the excellent quality of a high-end product. This also proves the cooperation of the blacksmiths with luxury brands such as Dupont, Philippe Tournaire or LEICA. Every 1515 is a lovingly created work of art.
