Laraud Blades
Benjamin Laurad kam 2014 nach Thiers, um das Messermachen von Grund auf zu lernen. Nach der Ausbildung im CRT-Atelier arbeitete er bei GDD und später bei Fontenille Pataud – doch irgendwann wurde ihm klar: Er will mehr. Er wolle eigene Ideen umsetzen, mit meinen Händen etwas erschaffen, das wirklich seines ist.
So entstand Anfang 2023 Laraud Blades – und sein erstes eigenes Modell: L’Oegopsyde. Schlank, elegant, zurückhaltend. Ein Messer mit Charakter. Der Name? Eine kleine Hommage – ein Freund meinte beim Entwurf, es sehe aus wie ein Tintenfisch, der sich durchs Wasser bewegt.
Heute ist das Oegopsyde sein Herzstück. Und der Anfang von vielem, was noch kommt.
