Fontenille Pataud Laguiole GENTLEMAN cow bone 10,5 cm
Fontenille Pataud, a high-end manufacturer of fine cutlery since 1929, is based in Thiers, France. All work steps are carried out by hand by one cutler.
The Laguiole GENTLEMAN knife is a little smaller and lighter than the Laguiole SPORT. The GENTLEMAN was designed together with Robert Beillonnet (M.O.F. 1997 and 2000). The compact, robust pocket knife is perfect for anyone looking for a wide and solid blade in a small format. The knife is equipped with a smooth-running blade locking system. The blade locks securely. This backlock at the end of the handle allows the knife to be closed gently.
The 10,5 cm long handle is made from cow bone. The shepherd's cross is precisely attached. The bolster and back spring are forged from a single piece. The back spring is hand-decorated with loving care.
The sharp blade is made from stainless 14C28N Sandvik steel. It keeps its edge and is easy to resharpen. The finish of the Laguiole knife is mat.
The item comes with a handmade leather sheath and a numbered manufactory certificate.
