Expressive grained olive wood was chosen for the handle. This material is soft and warm to the touch. The obligatory shepherd's cross adorns the handle.  The knife is well balanced in the hand. Just like the legendary Laguiole pocket knives, these stylish Laguiole steak knives are lovingly handcrafted in many steps. The knife is forged from one piece of Z40C13 stainless steel. The cutting blade is very finely and sharply ground. The back of the knife is decorated by hand and adorned with the obligatory bee. The finish of the Laguiole steak knives is satin.
The knives are delivered in a beautiful wooden box.
